The Sapsuckers are a guitar/fiddle duo from rural Wisconsin that performs original songs and tunes inspired by the classic hillbilly, country, old-time, and vaudeville traditions of the 1920s and 1930s. They bill their music as “a brand-new take on old-time country,” and their latest album, “Ocooch Mountain Home,” received high praise from the likes of fROOTS, Bluegrass Today, and Country Music People, while Ear to the Ground Music named them one of “5 Americana Acts you have to Hear to Believe.”
They’re making their Chicago debut with back-to-back shows on November 14 (Honky Tonk BBQ) and November 15 (Red Line Tap, with Diamond Jim Greene and The Hat Stretchers).
