Webcast Help

WNUR is proud to provide its listeners with a 24/7 live webcast directly from the WNUR on-air studio.  You can stream WNUR through our web-player by clicking “Listen Now” at the top of the page.  The player opens in a pop-up window, so make sure to disable your pop-up blocker if it won’t work.

We also offer the following streams, which you can open in the media player of your choice:
MP3 (128k)
MP3 (32k)
AAC+ (48k)
Windows Media (128K)

Mobile listeners
The streams above should be able to open in most mobile players (iOS, Android, etc.). Although your connection speed may vary, we recommend the 128k MP3 stream for the finest-quality mobile listening.

Additionally, there are a number of options for a more full-featured mobile listening experience. We here at WNUR.org are big fans of TuneIn Radio Pro for iOS and Android. There may be better options out there, but for $.99 you really can’t go wrong.

Are you having problems listening to the webcasts?
To listen to the audio feeds, we recommend a modern browser with the latest VLC Player or Windows Media plugin installed.

If you meet the hardware/software requirements and still can’t listen to the streaming audio, then contact us at webmaster@wnur.org. We’ll do our best to answer your questions.
