Here’s a new compilation of great indie, underground, and experimental rock and roll music from Chicago’s Sound Experiment, WNUR 89.3 FM. Seventeen great bands playing seventeen great songs, from here in Chicago and all over the country. When cool bands come through Chicago, we try our best to capture them and make them play music for our listeners. In 15 years, we’ve managed to snag more than 900 bands. This CD skims the tastiest sonic cream from the last five years and wraps it up in a shiny package.

All of these tracks were recorded live in our studio, and are available exclusively on this CD.
