10.30.05: LARRY SAWYER & LINA RAMONA
Larry Sawyer is a poet and editor of
www.milkmag.org along with his
wife, the poet Lina Ramona.
His poetry and critical reviews have appeared in publications such as
Jacket (Australia), Exquisite Corpse, Coconut, Versal (Holland),
Tabacaria (Portugal), moria, can we have our ball back?, Shampoo, NY
Arts Magazine, Van Gogh's Ear (France), 88, The Prague Literary Review
and elsewhere. His work was published in Shamanic Warriors Now Poets
(R&R Publishing, Scotland) alongside the work of poets such as David
Meltzer, Will Alexander, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and Diane DiPrima. As
editor of
www.milkmag.org, Sawyer has published the work of Charles
Bernstein, Wanda Coleman, Sheila E. Murphy, Thurston Moore, and Michael
McClure among many others. His chapbooks include A Chaise Lounge in
Hell (aboveground press, Canada) and Poems for Peace (anthology,
Structum Press).
Sawyer also co-curates the
Myopic Reading Series with Chuck Stebelton.
