- Music director Jason Karaian has returned. This is the first of
several catch-up reports, this one containing our charts for June --
subsequent reports will bring us back up to the present.
- Two special broadcasts on the jazz show this week:
- Wednesday 11/4/98 11:00am: live interview with Damon Short (drums)
and Paul Scea (reeds) also featuring music from "Removable Media",
their new quartet CD on Southport. The quartet performs Friday
evening at the HotHouse at 7:00.
- Friday 11/6/98 10:00am: feature on Fred Lonberg-Holm's conducted
improvisation project the Lightbox Orchestra, including live interview
with Lonberg-Holm and a selection of live tapes from past performances.
The Orchestra performs Saturday at Lunar Cabaret and every Monday in
November at the Note.
