NEWS
- Tune in every day this week at 11:00am to hear a different live
tape recorded at Lunar Cabaret. The series of broadcasts began this
morning with the NRG Ensemble, and will continue through the week with
Hamid Drake & Michael Zerang duo, Zerang/Hunsinger/Lonberg-Holm
trio, Caffeine, and Steam. In addition, we'll be interviewing Lunar
music honcho Michael Greenberg Wednesday morning at 10:30. These
broadcasts are timed to coincide with the final week of regular music
programming at the Lunar Cabaret, a venue which has been vital to the
development of new jazz and improvised music in Chicago over the last
three years.
