NEWS
- In last week's series of interviews with performers from the Empty
Bottle Festival of Jazz and Improvised Music, DJ's talked with Steve
Beresford, Veryan Weston, Fred Van Hove, Irene Schweizer, Frank
Gratkowski, and festival co-organizer John Corbett. All of the
interviews were recorded and we hope to have at least some of them
transcribed and available on the web at some point in the future.
- This morning we were pleased to present an interview and live
performance by ex-Florida, now Bay Area shakuhachi player Philip Gelb.
He hopes to return to Chicago to play some concerts sometime this
fall.
