GENERAL COMMENTS
- Seth Tisue will be away during the month of August. Jim Zanghi
will be handling music director duties during this time. As always,
you can reach us both at jazz-md@wnur.org.
- The Chora Ensemble will appear live on WNUR this Wednesday,
Aug. 7 at 8 AM. The show will be hosted by jazz DJ Len Bukowski.
- Vandy Harris will appear live on WNUR next Wednesday, Aug. 14,
5-7 AM (yes, early in the morning) during Len's show.
- John Corbett will be interviewing Werner X. Uehlinger of Hat Art
Records during his show later this month. Details will follow in the
next few weeks. This is part of an ongoing effort by WNUR to
interview artists associated with the Hat Art label, especially those
with new jazz releases.
- You can send local jazz concert info to
jazz-calendar@wnur.nwu.edu if you would like to be included on our
jazz concert calendar. The calendar is read over the air 3 times per
day every weekday morning at each DJ's discretion.
