NEW MUSIC COMMENTS
- The World Saxophone Quartet's new CD is another one featuring
African drummers in addition to the basic quartet lineup.
- Only God Can Make a Tree was the Duke Ellington
Orchestra's last project before the death of Mercer Ellington.
- The European Chaos String Quintet is an improvising group who
have one previous CD on Gunter Muller's label For 4 Ears. On the new
disc they are joined by guest trombonist Johannes Bauer.
