Comments
- Stellar Regions is all new Coltrane except for one track.
Alice Coltrane and son Ravi put this album together. There probably
will be more previously unissued Coltrane on the way from Impulse,
most of which was recorded in the last 2 years of his life
('66-'67).
- Blue Planet Man features John Zorn on alto sax.
- The September Band, COWWS Quintet, Evan Parker, and Peter
Brötzmann will be in town during the FMP Festival next month.
- Strange Pursuit will be in town next month at the Jazz Bulls.
- XIII Ghosts is freaky electronics and samples, 46
tracks on the CD.
- The Steve Lacy album is considerably different from
the Revenue album out a few months ago.
