What Might Come...

Ideally, this is the jumping off point for a grand public information archive about music, specifically Jazz and Blues. As of now, such information will be very abrupt and factual -- primarily lists of names and skeletal discographies. Such information is freely available and redistributable. More elaborate (and interesting!) commentary, such as is found in Berendt's book and many others, will come as it is donated to this project -- I encourage fans to take a crack at writing at any level, whether it be a detailed biography/discography project of a single artist or group, or a comparative essay on styles or artists, or personal recollections of great historical figures in jazz, or creative writing about music -- this is hypertext! and we can figure out some way to put in just about anything you like!
