We were prempted this week by WNUR Women's Basketball, but if you need your fix, here is a streaming-only show that we posted yesterday.

You can listen with software that can play mp3 streams. Apple's iTunes software can play the stream, but you won't be able to pause the show. The Real Player or winamp software allows you to pause the show. Click on the link below.

Alice Peacock makes a return visit to the show at 11:15 to talk about the Rock for Reading Benefit on Sat 12/6 at SPACE. Finally, we'll close out the show by giving away a pair of tickets to see Lowen and Navarro at the Morse Theatre.

In the 10:00 hour will visit with Jules Eberhardt and Eddie Holstein to talk about the new album - Fred Holstein Live at the Earl of Old Town.

Then in our second hour will visit with Folk legend Jim Post. Jim plays on Sunday 1/20 at 7pm at Bill's Blues in Evanston.

We'll be on an extra 40 minutes tomorrow until 12:40 due to WNUR Sports programming that will pre-empt the Blues Show.

Folk Legend John Stewart has died

We're sad to report that John Stewart passed away today after suffering a brain aneurysm on Friday.
