David Massengill on the Folk Show - Sunday April 29th Tune in on Sunday April 29th at 10am for our next show. Sue Kessell welcomes singer-songwriter David Massengill for some talk and music in our 11:00 hour. David will be the first musician performing on the Folk Show at the brand new WNUR studios in Louis Hall on Northwestern's Evanston campus.
David plays Saturday evening 4/28 at 7:30 in Lombard at the Maple Street Chapel Concert series and he plays locally at Bills Blues on Sunday evening 4/29 at 7pm

Sons of the Never Wrong Concert Appearance Our pals, the Sons of the Never Wrong will be playing in Evanston for the Hogeye Folk Art concert series on Saturday March 3rd at the Lake Street Church at 7:30pm

Coming up on the January 7th Folk Show Ron Lewis has two guests coming in this Sunday. Austin-based singer-songwriter Danny Schmidt will be stopping by along with Chicago's own Rachel Ries.
Danny plays at Bills Blues on Sunday Night at 7pm and then both Danny and Rachel will be on the bill at Chicago's Uncommon Ground on Wednesday January 10th.

Ray Bonneville performs Sunday, October 16, at 7:00 PM at Bill’s Blues, 1029 Davis St., Evanston. Ray Bonneville is a national figure in country blues – that includes New Orleans, gospel and country pop. A distinctive and excellent guitarist, Bonneville is known for his visceral and streetwise lyrics. Ray won the prestigious Juno award in Canada in 1999, the Canadian equivalent of the American Grammy, for his third album Gust of Wind. His fourth release, Rough Luck, was also nominated for the coveted award. Ray's newest recording, Roll it Down, is his fifth recording was made half in Nashville and half in Montreal.
