Ray Bonneville is a national figure in country blues – that includes New Orleans, gospel and country pop. A distinctive and excellent guitarist, Bonneville is known for his visceral and streetwise lyrics. Ray won the prestigious Juno award in Canada in 1999, the Canadian equivalent of the American Grammy, for his third album Gust of Wind. His fourth release, Rough Luck, was also nominated for the coveted award. Ray's newest recording, Roll it Down, is his fifth recording was made half in Nashville and half in Montreal.
