Our latest archive features a return visit from our good friend, singer-songwriter Kat Eggleston. Kat is an onstage musician in Tony Fitzpatrick’s new play “This Train”, which premieres this Thursday July 15th with shows on Thursday through Sunday (2 on Saturday) through the last weekend in July. We also visit by phone with the director of the play, Ann Filmer.

Join us starting at 10am today. Kathy Kelly will be your host today and her guest in the 11:00 hour will be Juan Dies. Then around then end of the Folk Show at Noon, join Ron Lewis and Al Finley for an in-studio visit with Colin Hay. Al’s “Both Kinds” show has graciously allowed us to visit with Colin along with Al during their show.

Colin plays a sold out show tonight (5/16) at SPACE at 8pm. If you don’t have tickets, here’s your chance to hear Colin play live.

We were pre-empted by Northwestern Sports, so we were only on for about 45 minutes. The show is mostly a concert calendar for people coming to town the first three weeks of May and it features our usual technical glitches as Ron tries to become the first folk DJ to play tunes from his Apple iPad.
