"Breakfast with Broadway", which has been previously and excellently hosted by Annie Levine and Ryan Morton, showcases and celebrates the music of musicals, from Broadway, off-Broadway, movies, etc. This show is a celebration of the great art form of theatre. Aaron and Emily introduce the show's audience to the brilliance of the most current musicals and the most obscure musicals, by established writers and those unknown and emerging, while staying dedicated to the famous music of Broadway's Golden Age.
"Breakfast with Broadway" follows the current theatre events on Broadway, in Chicago, around the world, and on the Northwestern campus, focusing not only on musical theatre but also on non-musical theatre as well.
Interviews with the stars and creators of Broadway, Chicago theatre, and Northwestern theatre are aired regularly. Past interviews have included composer of Cabaret and Chicago, John Kander; Northwestern alumnus and Fiddler on the Roof lyricist Sheldon Harnick; original Rent cast member Daphne Rubin-Vega; lyricist of Miss Saigon and director and creator of Ain't Misbehavin', Richard Maltby, Jr.; and many more!
