50th Anniversary Reunion

The WNUR 50th Anniversary Reunion brought back to campus over 200 alumni and friends on May 27, 2000.

A full day of events was planned to highlight the history and future of the station.

The day started with a panel discussion entitled "50 Years and Beyond: With Seconds to Spare."

Hosted by Neal Sabin (S78) the conversation included several prominent alumni

• Jim Leven (S78)

• Jonathan Hoenig (S98)

Activities for alumni and their families included visiting the Memorabilia Room and a chance to DJ a set again.

Later in the day Kevan Harris, student general manager of WNUR, with the alumni from the 50s inaugurated WNUR's multi-streaming web site. Listen to four different music streams at www.wnur.org.
