Contributions to the JazzWeb
The JazzWeb is entirely user-supported. Artists and other subjects that are covered here are included by virtue of the simple fact that someone has put together information about that subject and published it on the Internet.
If you are outraged that your favorite artist, style, or instrument is not covered, or is inadequately covered, don't just get mad -- fix it!
Starting a New Topic
If the subject isn't covered at all, you may have some work cut out for you -- but what a good opportunity to spend time "wallowing" in something you love! All you need to do is learn to write HTML, make some pages, and put them on a server. If you don't know how to write HTML, try reading Netscape's How to Create Web Services, which can point you to plenty more information. If you don't have a server where you can put things, we can probably find room for it here -- send me email at j-germuska@nwu.edu.
Responding to Existing Pages
If you just have something to say about information that is already provided, your feedback is greatly appreciated. Please check at the bottom of the page you have comments on, and direct your comments to the address listed there. The JazzWeb is built by many diverse hands, and you'll get faster and better response if you go right to the source rather then sending comments about someone else's page to me.
